Can Dogs Eat Cheese?

Cheese Please? Yes, in small amounts it's fine, with some exceptions. Don’t feed cheese if your dog is lactose intolerant, or has a dairy allergy. Try to buy the good stuff, no processed cheese. The cheddar cheese we humans eat, usually contain artificial ingredients.  If your dog has a weight problem, stay away from cheese and its high fat Better options for your dog would be grass fed cheese from your local farmer’s market. Mozzarella, goat cheese, low-fat cottage cheese, and low-fat cream cheese that are lower in fat, are a better option. Feeding cheese can also increase a risk for pancreatitis, or an inflamed pancreas. Blue cheese is one cheese to avoid as it contains a fungus that can cause vomiting, diarrhea and seizures if your dog is exposed to it. Seek medical attention immediately if your dog has any side effects from this cheese.
